I've said it before, and I'll say it again - I am immensely happy the Daredevil Netflix show shows us openminded analytical religious people who do NOT push their religions onto others. Matt's conversations with the priest makes me honestly have a bit of an understanding how and why people would be of such a religious belief... at least to SOME extent, you know?
But oh my fucking god... I HATE religious people who tells others they must share their specific religious belief. And they love their loopholes and fallacies and slippery slopes to an insane extent. I can come up with the most clever and thought-provoking questions, and they just tend to be such narrowminded idiots they try to dig up a way to be right.
I can for instance ask how they know their God doesn't lie, and there's just no way in hell you will get a proper answer from them. At best, they'll say "I don't know". At worst? They either do the circular logic that the Bible says so, or they say that God's words and laws makes sense "if you think about it", or some other bullshit.
And now most recently, I discussed with a Christian (from Texas, which just makes it more likely I can't reason with them) about how and why evolution is a fact, and how and why Noah's Ark would just be impossible. It's funny how as soon as I came up with really difficult and complicated questions to answer (like asking how freshwater animals didn't die during the Great Flood), this person just goes silent for 5-10 minutes and keeps on and on seemingly rewriting, until then they respond with something as if it should be obvious.
And while I hate to bring this up again, it's because of these mentally insane assholes that we don't get proper inclusion of LGBT-related stuff. Is it a coincidence Sweden is the least religious country in the world AND the most LGBT-supportive country in the world? No, I don't think so.
... I can love and respect religious people - but fuck, I really do hate that people believe in religion when it causes shit like this. >_<

You're not an artist if using AI generated images
Hey, long time no see. But it's about damn time I speak up. All artists and supporters of artists need to keep speaking up. AI generated images is not "art". Stop consider it art, stop calling it "AI art". Art is when something is created by us, not generated through an algorithm. By comparison, even your own created character in a character creator is art, because YOU created it. But with AI generated images, you just randomize things based on what you type in, and the generator uses already existing imagery to conjure up an approximation. Now, using AI image generators for inspiration or just for fun is great. I think in theory, it's a cool neat thing to use for whatever purpose you might see fit. However, the moment you call it art, and you consider yourself an ARTIST for using the AI image generator? THAT is when we are going to have a problem. You are not an artist if you don't put your own personal touch into something. Your own effort, talent, and creativity must have been
General update 2022/11/28
Are there still people around here? I haven't managed to work on a dedicated comic project for years now. I seem to just start projects I don't finish or even fully commit to. Like the "original universe comics" especially, I haven't done in two years now, and it's a dead project. That's all about to change though. I am working on something big. A fantasy adventure comic. It's going to focus on just a group of characters... a DnD-esque team, if you will. It is a huge, HUGE passion project of mine (despite the fact that it takes me forever to make it XP). I do not wish to reveal too much about it just yet, but... safe to say, it's a project I have a lot of love and passion for, and it's definitely NOT a project I will EVER abandon as long as I can help it. I am drawing it through MS Paint, doing my pixel art style. But this time, I will take full advantage of it. I am going to make it look and feel like an old-school RPG from the 80s or early 90s, combining it looking and feeling
I was accused of being a white supremacist
On the r/comics subreddit, someone made a comic showing a white dude criticising the new Ariel being black, while having a shelf full of movies with examples of whitewashing in them. I commented with this: "What a weird strawman. As far as I am concerned, I hate pointless raceswapping regardless of if it's whitewashing or blackwashing. What Disney is doing is fan baiting. They don't do this because they actually care." Then suddenly, I was permanently banned. I sent this comment in response to that: "Why did you ban me? :( I just pointed out my opinion and stating that the comic is strawmanning people having problems with raceswapping Ariel. Even if you think I broke a rule, isn't a PERMANENT ban a little bit extreme for ONE comment?" They said: "Racism is a permanent ban" I then said: "But I literally said I'm not a racist, and I pointed out the racism OF race-swapping?" As to which they responded with this: "No, you are a racist and your white supremacist nonsense isn't
I want to chat about X-Men comics with anyone
As I keep expanding my collection of X-Men comics, I would really like to find people to discuss X-Men comics and X-Men media in general such as the movies and shows and games. Including my Wolverine comics, these are all the comics I have so far: Wolverine Origin 1-2, Weapon X, X-Men: Uncanny Origin (AKA X-Men: Season One), Wolverine: Season One, Dark Phoenix Saga, Days of Future Past, God Loves Man Kills, Wolverine by Claremont and Miller, Mutant Massacre, Age of Apocalypse, and the first two volumes of Savage Wolverine. Thus far, the comics I have yet to get and plan to purchase in the near future are X-Men: Inferno and X-Tinction Agenda. But there's always room for more comics for me to consider purchasing. So yeah, anyone at all who's interested in just chatting about X-Men stuff with me, please don't hesitate to leave a comment on this journal, or send me a chat message through my profile. :)

If I may say, I usually don't mind if people are religious. Heck, my grandparents are Jehovah's witnesses, my half brother is Christian and my sister is converting to Judaism. I myself believe in reincarnation, but my parents and uncle are Atheists, like you. But we all respect differing points of view, because....I'm not sure if any of us really know what happens after you die. My parents say we just go to sleep, my grandparents say we go to heaven, but I like to think of Death as the start of a new life.
But if someone forces another person to convert to something they don't believe in, that's awful and should not happen.
